Seabarge Briefing
Every session limited to 5 people only
Charges RM50 nett/passenger
The Club has a river barge of which members can utilize on the Miri River. The river barge is powered by a 60hp outboard engine.
Sign up to be an authorized driver for the river barge with the Club office now.
Part 1 – Theory
This will formal instruction conducted at the boatyard. This should take about 30 minutes.
Part 2 – Practical
The river barge will be launched and you will go with the instructor on the barge
- You will be shown the proper and safe handling of the barge on the river
- You will be asked to take over the handling of the barge and preform several skills test
- This session should take about an hour (depending on the number of members participating in the session)
- The instructor will sign your ticket form on return to shore
Only if you had proven reasonably competent will a River Barge Ticket be issued to you and your name registered for eligibility to book and drive the River Barge
